Finally! -A number of retailers have confirmed that they will be taking Xbox One X pre-orders starting Wednesday 20 September. The news comes after the company’s Limited Edition Project Scorpio Xbox One X console became the fastest ever selling Xbox pre-order console in August.

Pre-orders for the standard Xbox One X console have not been available since the console’s reveal earlier this year. Soon after a number of GAME retail twitter accounts made the announcement the console began trending on Twitter. However, many of the retailers are urging interested fans to order early as stocks are extremely limited.

Pre-Orders for the standard Xbox One X are now set to open tomorrow morning. Further details will be announced Wednesday but its clear that interested gamers will have to move fast in order to secure a unit. A quick browse online shows that retailers with stock in the UK are mainly GAME stores.

In the meantime, a quick check on Amazon show the console as still unavailable. The online retailer may very well open reservations tomorrow morning but no doubt those will sell out quickly too.

In the US, EBGames has also confirmed the availability of Xbox One X pre-orders starting tomorrow. As mentioned above, quantities seem to be extremely limited. As a result orders will be taken on a first-come first-serve basis.

Microsoft’s strategy seems to have helped make an already in-demand console get even more popular. Whether that was required is another question altogether. But still, pre-orders are open tomorrow.
